Thank you to all the friends and family who came out during observation week to support our dancers. What an incredible week we had! I continue to be amazed and beyond proud of our students’ progress and growth. A special thank you to Tiffany Weissbrodt for capturing so many beautiful moments last week. And now a much-needed rest for all. Happy Holidays!

We are thrilled to be offering Variations this summer with Claire Hutchinson! Claire trained at the School of American Ballet (SAB) in New York City’s Lincoln Center.

In Variations, students learn to transform technique into art. Excerpts from a variety of classical and contemporary ballets will be used to develop each dancer’s unique musicality and performance quality. In addition to learning the ballet’s choreography, we will dive into the provenance to identify influential choreographers, composers, and dancers throughout history. Students will practice both performing for and providing feedback to their peers, all with the goal of developing a greater understanding of what makes a variation come to life on stage.

To be eligible for this new class, students must also be registered for Elementary and /or Intermediate/Advanced Ballet. Summer classes start Monday, July 7th. Register today! https://creativesoulberkshires.com/youth-program/registration/
