G.O.T. Orphans Travels to Kenya!
Tara McCormick, co-founder of Global Occupational Therapy For Orphans (G.O.T. Orphans), has connected with a family in Kenya and will be providing occupational therapy services to children in need in a Nairobi community. She will be completing 15+ evaluations, treating children, and educating parents as well as various therapists within this community for over a week. She will also be visiting a local orphanage to carry out the G.O.T. Orphan's mission to provide occupational therapy services to orphans with special needs globally, and to educate staff on working with orphans with special needs. Tara is the heart of Global Occupational Therapy For Orphans, and she is being drawn to this community in hopes to plan future G.O.T. Orphan's group mission trips so that we can make a greater impact in the lives of these children.
Our website is currently under construction, but please feel free to message me for more information.
I am excited to get G.O.T. Orphans back up and running and thrilled that Tara is taking the initiative to build global connections for our organization.
