Thank you for having Dr. Heather Popp to speak about balance and fall risk in honor of Fall Prevention Month!

We had a great group of attendees at the talk who participated in conversations about falls history and ways to prevent falls.

More than 50% of the participants had suffered from a fall in the past year and the same people raised their hands when asked if they were worried about falling.

The key takeaway message was that FALLS ARE PREVENTABLE and physical therapy can help reduce fall risk and improve balance and confidence!

Living with a vestibular disorder often means giving up—or changing—the things you used to love.

Loud concerts. Spontaneous travel. Crowded grocery stores. Long phone calls. Intense workouts. Driving at night. Even just scrolling your phone without feeling overwhelmed.

These losses are real.
And they deserve space.

September is National Fall Prevention Month and at FYZICAL we are continuing to work hard to evaluate and lower fall risk among our clients.

Did you know that Falls are Preventable?

At FYZICAL, our specialized equipment allows us to effectively treat imbalance and fall risk while keeping our clients and therapists safe. Individualized treatment allows us to improve balance function and lower fall risk with the goal of maintaining a healthy falls-free life.

April is Parkinson’s awareness month. At FYZICAL in North Andover, our Doctors of Physical Therapy provide comprehensive skilled PT a and skilled maintenance therapy for clients of all ages and stages with Parkinson’s Disease.

Our safety overhead support harnesses and computerized balance equipment allow us to maximize challenges to this clientele while maintaining safety.
