Having the right tools to do a project always makes things easy and so much fun to do. We found markers that have just the right tip to do calligraphy with. We practiced writing the alphabet to build our confidence. Not bad for the first time trying calligraphy. We need more practice, but we will do this again.

During Masters Week, we see a lot of visitors to our area. One of our residents had friends visiting from Australia and England. They stopped by to visit, and the residents loved listening to them talk. The stories they told about their time here and what home is like made for an enjoyable afternoon. Stop by anytime!

We always have a lot going on, but on this day, we had a Master's Tea party with pimento cheese & egg salad sandwiches and a Bible study with our friends. A busy but fun day!

The Snoopy Club meets again. This week, the Snoopy Club made storage jars. Some were decoupage, and some were stickers. They had lemonade, and most of the time was spent getting to know our newest resident and new member to the Snoopy Club.

Let's paint flowers. We used Walmart bags to create these beauties. This was a learning experience for all who tried to paint flowers. We think they came out great!

Victory Baptist comes one Sunday a month with the choir. This is a wonderful service with a great group of people that share prayer & worship and song with our residents. Thanks to all that came to bless our residents with all of the gifts they have.

Strawberries were the flavor of the day. We did a tasting of Strawberry Mimosa's, Strawberry Wine & Strawberry Tequila. Everyone enjoyed spending time together, and that is what we look forward to.

For Mother's Day, we made door hanger pocket books. Each one is as different as the ladies that made them. This project was fun for all!

One of our associates is having a boy! Spider-Man is what was chosen for the nursery. Not due until July, but this was a surprise shower, and boy was she surprised!

These ladies tried their hand at making roses out of fondant. They may have eaten more than they made, but they had fun learning to do this. The roses came out beautiful! They saved a few for later.

It's National Vietnam War Veterans Day, and we want to take the time to highlight one of our Vietnam War veterans, Roger. Roger lives at Brookdale Reidsville. He enjoys calligraphy and watching sports. Thank you to Roger and all of our other Vietnam War veterans for your service!

This Women's History Month, we are incredibly thankful for all of the women who paved the way for the young women of today to accomplish their goals. Paula is one of these women.
