A moment for the animals!!
They were patient teachers all summer—helping us learn gentle hands, impulse control, and why we keep our fingers out of their mouths🤪
They put up with our silliness, made us giggle daily, and gave us endless chances to practice kindness, curiosity, and connection.
We’re so grateful for these furry (and feathered) friends. They were just as much a part of camp as the kids!

Blake has AuDHD, which means his brain and body are always on the move, and that’s exactly what we love about him!! At Thrive Outside, he’s not told to sit still or be quieter. He is free to dig, climb, build, run, and create he is meant to!

This is OT. It’s regulation, movement, imagination, and connection, all outside, all on his terms.

Thank you for allowing me to share a week Blake with this summer. We loved having him! ☀️

So much fun this Water Wonders Day!! We had gorgeous weather, lots of water balloon fights, slides and fun 🤩 ☀️ 🏊‍♀️

Farmyard Friends Day SPOTLIGHT!

Jake and Becky both spent hours during camp just hanging out with the animal observing their behaviors, learning and bonding.

Becky’s connection with the horses was evident from the start, they loved her as much as she connected with them. She also enjoyed staying up on the latest Chicken Drama, which was ever changing and always entertaining!

Jake was all about the goats and pigs. He was the first to let me know if Alfred decided to make a break for it, and always the quickest to say “I love this goat.” One of my favorite Jake moments was after the pigs got a little rowdy and he said, “Let the battle begin, it’s Skillet versus Possum!”

New week, new campers, new adventures 🌱

This week kicked off with planting pumpkins (fingers crossed for Halloween magic 🎃), making flower bracelets, and exploring the garden through touch and smell. We also got a special visit from the horses, brushed, fed, and loved 💚 The farm is feeling full of life already!
