If you had the opportunity to know Bob, you are one of the lucky ones. I met Bob at the Loyal Order of Moose in Lindenhurst in 1988. He was one of the good guys. Navy Veteran during Vietnam and later became a Police Officer for the NYPD. Lots of fun and memories at the Moose Lodge.
Rest in peace Bob. You will be missed by many. 💚☘️ See you on the other side🙏🏼

If you were thinking about participating in a “takeover”, take a minute and think again.

The Nassau County Police Department is aware of “takeovers” — large gatherings at malls and shopping centers that may lead to disturbances and criminal activity.

We want to be very clear: there is ZERO tolerance for this type of behavior here in Nassau County.

Anyone involved in illegal activity will be investigated, arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

We are trained and equipped to handle these types of incidents, and deploy resources strategically to address them if they arise. The best way to avoid consequences is to stay away from these types of gatherings.
