Mount Si PT is co-hosting a free event with The Mothership Collective called Mud Moms and Mocktails!

A little mud, a little sparkle, and a whole lot of connection.

Join us for a forest romp with other rad women. Whether you’re pregnant, hauling kids, or rolling solo, you’re welcome here. We’ll meet at the Teneriffe Trailhead and head out together for a hike toward Teneriffe Falls.
The full route is about 5.6 miles round trip with ~1500 ft of gain, but this is a choose-your-own-adventure kind of day. Go as far as you’d like, then head back to the parking lot for drinks, snacks, and a relaxed hang.

Strollers won’t work on this trail, so plan accordingly.

What to bring:
Water, snacks, sturdy shoes, and a tumbler for mocktails (BYO something to sip or share if you’d like)

Expect good vibes, a little sweat, and the type of connection that only happens outside.

Body Wise Series Starts Soon! This is a great opportunity, don't miss it!

I used to think rest was what happened when I couldn't keep going.

Push through the day. Handle everything. Then collapse.

But collapse isn't rest. It's your nervous system hitting a wall.

Real rest—the kind that actually restores your body and your capacity to cope—has to happen before you're depleted. Not as a reward. As a rhythm.

In midlife, this becomes non-negotiable. Progesterone drops first during perimenopause, and progesterone is your calming neurotransmitter. Without it, your nervous system runs hotter. Recovery takes longer. The old pattern of push-crash-push stops working.

What I've learned from both clinical evidence and my own experience: rest is a practice. It belongs in your day, not at the end of it.

A supported posture for ten minutes in the afternoon. A breath practice before bed instead of scrolling. An evening where you do nothing—and don't feel guilty about it.

These aren't indulgent. They're how your body rebuilds what midlife is asking it to spend.

We provide a postpartum full body evaluation at the start of the program to make sure you are safe to begin training and to become aware of any specific weak areas or injury risks.

Weekly strength training and group runs with coaches, who will provide you with expert guidance, support, and motivation as you progress toward your goals.
