The number one cause of death of our elderly is falling due to dysfunctional foot health, this is one of the most premature reasons why this statistic is so prevalent in our society.
Feet are your lifeline to exploring your world. Your foot health has a direct correlation to a long life span and high quality of life.
Modern day shoes literally are murdering your feet and your life as you age. Here are two critical focus points that determine if your feet are healthy or not.
1. Is your big toe straight or curved? If it’s straight you have excellent foot health. If curved you have work to do.

If you only take one supplement it should be Vit D3: Vit D3 increases your bodies ability to make healthy cells, this means it boost your immune system, it supports every organ in your whole body!! It decreases your risk of Cancer, Heart Attack, Multiple sclerosis. Every single cell uses Vit D3. It is extremely detrimental if your body is low.

Your nervous system controls every aspect of the body. Movement must happen between the brain and body for you to have a healthy body. This is exactly why the chiropractic adjustment exists. It removes immobility in the spine and allows the brain to communicate/understand what is happening in that region, allowing health to exist. Insulin resistance is a situation where your insulin receptors begin to resist insulin. As insulin resistance progresses, it turns into pre-diabetes and diabetes.
If you can address insulin resistance early, you can help reduce your risk of pre-diabetes and diabetes. However, doctors rarely test for insulin resistance. This test is known as HOMA-IR.At least 33% of the population has insulin resistance—most don’t know about it.

What causes insulin resistance? It’s caused by high insulin, which is caused by high carb and sugar consumption.The AMA recommends no more than 6-9 tsp of added sugar daily. I am going to talk about three easy steps you can use to fix sciatic nerve pain.What is sciatica? Sciatica is pain that travels from your lower back down the back of one leg.90% of the time, sciatica pain is due to a problem with a spinal disk.The sciatic nerve is the longest nerve in the body. It runs from your lower back to the bottom of your foot.
Before you use these three steps to help get rid of sciatic nerve pain, rate your pain from 1 to 10. You’ll rate your pain again after you're finished.

Here’s what you’ll need the following things:

• A foam roller OR a towel to roll up

• A tennis ball OR someone who can lend a hand

Try these three steps for getting rid of sciatica.

Step 1: reestablish the curve in your lower back

Sitting too long can cause your natural lower back curve to straighten out. Reestablishing this curve is important for getting rid of sciatica.

Simply take your foam roller or towel and lay on it with it under your lower back for five minutes, twice a day.

Step 2: Stimulate the opposing sciatic nerve

Never stimulate the side of the nerve that is causing you pain. If you have pain on your right side, massage the left side.
If you don’t have someone to help massage the back of your leg, use a tennis ball under your leg while sitting or laying.

It’s crucial to be strong and perform well in your day-to-day, but it can also take a toll on you if you don't get the right balance between rest days. It's even more important for those people who are not repairing when they sleep at night because their next workout shouldn't involve heavy lifting or try crushing themselves with another intense work out. Here 3 things that may help boost fitness, strength performance:
1) Get 8 hours of high quality sleep per night - no less! Remember this will change your recovery time as well as life too;
2) Drink an adequate amount of water according to weight (i would say 40% bodyweight is about enough); add some electrolytes I love for my training and races.
3) Remove unhealthy items from your daily food regimen. The human body needs fuel and less irritants and it will thrive.
Remove gluten, dairy, processed foods, coffee, and added sugars to decrease inflammation in the body. Especially if you’re training for a specific fitness event of some kind.
If you need more specificity which I’m sure you do this is a excellent baseline to start with your daily repair.
Strength and performance comes from consistency and repeatability with the basics.

Vitamin D is the reason why your DNA in every single cell in your body divides and is also the reason it stops dividing (cancer). We normally would get it from the sun but we have been under clothes, in a car, house, or in a building for most of our life. Naturally we are all deficient unless you take vitamin d on a regular basis or are outside “mostly” naked the majority of the day, to get adequate levels of vitamin D. Otherwise there’s no other major source in our environment. So take it if you truly are concerned about your health. You’ll thank me when everyone around you is sick and you’re not.
