We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA), PCA or CNA to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services at Brask Haven Assisted Living in accordance with an established care plan.
Work Schedule:
Currently we have an opening for an immediate hire for day shift and evening shift with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Full time/part time hours. Whether you are looking for full time opportunity or part time for extra hours, this is a perfect opportunity.

Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL)
Perform domestic and household tasks
Transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital
Administer simple prescribed medications
Assist with client's personal care activities
Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition
Maintain residents care records and document provided services
Assist residents with mobility
Assist residents with daily living
Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
Skills
Proven working experience as home health aide preferred. We are also willing to train if you are new or have no experience
Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
Proficiency in English
Nursing and health care administration skills
Caring and compassionate personality
Current CPR certificate is preferred
First Aid training preferred
Valid driver’s license
High school degree or equivalent

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA
Leadership opportunity for experienced CNA as - Resident Services Coordinator(RSC)
We are looking for a reliable CNA to care for our residents in a professional and considerate manner. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse. CNA professionals must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing diverse basic care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm. This is a very rewarding job.
Responsibilities:
**This position will serve as Resident Services Coordinator(RSC)
Record a patient’s medical history accurately
Take and record vitals including but not limited to blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
Monitor residents well being.
Monitor residents condition including input, output and changes in functional status and cart accurately
Assist residents with activity of daily living such as eating, bathing, dressing etc.
Administer prescribed medications, and assist with other basic medical care tasks
Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
Communicate with resident's family and care takers to provide updates
Coordinate facility day to day operations
Conduct tours for prospective clients and admissions
Will be responsible for training new employees, and other office tasks
Skills:
Proven experience as CNA or similar role
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field
Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks
Familiarity with health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and able to handle stress
Successful completion of CNA license program is a must
Current CPR certificate is preferred
First Aid training preferred
Valid driver’s license
High school degree or equivalent
