Welcome to finding your truth in healthy relationships with Internal Truth Healing, LLC! I am Amanda, your guide in finding internal peace, a way back to safety in all aspects of life, and strengthening your voice with relational wisdom and connection. I am a relationship coach and relational couples coach that helps individuals, couples, and families find their way into healthier, productive, and meaningful relationships.
What you will get with me are quick yet transformative, lasting results, not just talk-therapy.
Why?
Because I have walked in your shoes before on my own journey. I used to struggle in the past with finding my voice, let alone speaking up in all my relationships. I did not know I had needs; I people-pleased to the point of burnout and resentment; and didn’t realize it started with my internal relationship with myself (which was really bad). I was scared to invest into therapy or counseling, mostly because of the unknown- "will this help me?"
Having had 10+ years in my marriage, with 3 kids, navigating depression, anxiety, financial debt, all while being a conflict-avoidant people-pleaser, I knew anything was better than how I was navigating relationships. And bottom line was, I didn't want to end my relationship, even though the conflict and arguing felt painful to me.
It was trial and error at first. One counselor would lead me to find another counselor, mostly because I needed someone that could keep me accountable, help guide and teach me, challenge me and support me, not just listen to me complain. Turns out, that was a tall order! I ended up coming into each session with my notes, questions, and action steps that I felt I needed without much guidance from the professionals. Something I learned later was that counselors have their place as well as therapists. And they stay in their lanes and how they do their practice. I will give them credit that they helped me up to a point. They just were not moving the needle for me in helping me understand the root cause of my conflict-avoidant people-pleasing tendencies and what behaviors to replace those with for healthier relationships.
Coaches are different. They have their place and also stay in their lanes along with helping clients get traction, get movement, and get results towards their goals. I wanted tools, I wanted action, I wanted movement and growth. So I forged my own path. I started with meditation and reiki to help me with my depression and anxiety since traditional medication and counseling/therapy didn't help me. That led me to become a reiki practitioner, since helping other people has always been a part of who I am. I also found a coach that helped greatly me during this transition. I knew being a reiki practitioner wasn't' going to be enough for me AND I still needed help with navigating challenging relationships. So I went to school again to become a certified relationship coach. And that was exactly what I needed and what I was looking for, not only professionally as a practitioner, yet also personally to help me with my relationship with myself, in my marriage, and all my relationships. It checked all the boxes for me: needing accountability, a group to work and learn from, community, tools, resources, being challenged, and being supported.
My journey has led me to become the version of a relationship coach that I needed 13 years ago that I really could have benefited from. As a relationship coach, I help each client and couple find themselves first, strengthen their voice, help create healthier behaviors, and guide them to practice those choices daily.
Relationships do not have to always end just to learn new relationship skills. I have learned personally in my own marriage, as well as professionally working with clients over the years, that relational skills can be learned and practiced daily, weekly, monthly, to develop into a new state within our brains. That new state continues to be practiced and fine-tuned to become new behaviors, which over time (yes…time meaning years) becomes a newer version of ourselves- an updated, healthier trait. Conflict isn't painful anymore; it is a part of having any relationship. It's how we respond to conflict that changes everything.
I have a request from you:
What I am asking for from you is help in finding eager couples, couples who know they need help in the relationship department, willing to work with a relational couples coach, and don't want to "break the bank" by doing it. I am offering a great deal on a package of 6 sessions at $40/session! Usually couples therapy sessions can range between $150-$300+ per session.
So why such a low cost?
I am currently enrolled at the Relational Life Institute, in the "Relational Life Therapy (RLT) Couples Coaching" program, with Terry Real as my mentor. I am training to become a certified couples coach in 2026-27!
To honor the process and be transparent, I am offering a steep discount on couples coaching sessions since I am a "RLT couples-coach-in-training."
I want to make these sessions affordable, while respecting my training and certification process. Once I am certified, the prices per session/package will go higher.
So.....get in on this great opportunity while you can! And spread the word to others you know who could benefit from couples coaching at a discounted price! I offer in-person sessions at my healing arts studio for local clients (Akron/Canton, OH), as well as virtual Zoom sessions for long-distance clients, or for convenience.
Here's to the new relational you!
