SEL Groups aim to help students develop and enhance their social skills, self-management techniques and group interactions. We look forward to working with the Carrollton community to facilitate success in and outside the classroom. 📚❤

February is Black History Month.

Black history is American history, and its impact is woven into every part of our society.

Black History Month is also a time to reflect on the resilience, strength, creativity, and excellence of Black individuals whose perseverance has driven progress, inspired change, and paved the way for future generations. While February offers a focused opportunity to learn and reflect, the importance of acknowledging Black history extends far beyond one month.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the first formal recognition of Black history in 1926, originally established to ensure that the stories, achievements, and voices of Black Americans were not overlooked. As we honor this milestone, we recommit ourselves to listening, learning, and uplifting Black voices today and always.
