This week, we are honored to highlight June, a treasured resident of Twin Hills whose life is rich with love, purpose, and meaningful moments. Originally from Akron, June met her husband Ralph in high school and enjoyed 65 beautiful years of marriage.

She worked in various roles throughout her life, with her favorite being in the reference department at the Akron Beacon Journal. A woman of strong faith, June supported her son’s ministry and cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren.

She loves writing poetry, reflecting on her travels, and sharing stories that continue to inspire those around her. We are grateful to celebrate June and her remarkable journey. 💐

Lexi has been caring for residents for the past two years and joined our St. Luke team this past summer. A Perry High School Class of 2021 graduate, she brings incredible warmth, positivity, and dedication to her work every day.

Outside of work, Lexi loves hiking, spending time outdoors, and enjoying life with her fiancé, Tristin. She’s also a proud pet mom to two snakes and a dog.

Her favorite part of the job is the strong relationships she’s built, with residents, teammates, and the community that makes St. Luke feel like home. We’re grateful for her commitment and the joy she brings to our residents. 💙✨

Last week, St. Luke Lutheran Community North Canton was honored to welcome the legendary Cliff Harris of the Dallas Cowboys for a special Q and A in collaboration with the Football Hall of Fame. 🏈✨

Pictured is our resident, Louie, presenting Cliff Harris with a gift on behalf of the St. Luke family. A fun and meaningful connection, Louie even attended Cliff Harris’s Hall of Fame induction.

Cliff was gracious, engaging, and took time to connect with everyone, including posing for a photo with our driver. It was an unforgettable moment filled with pride, memories, and true sports history.

Lucille is our weekly resident spotlight, and at 100 years young, she continues to inspire all of us here at St. Luke North Canton. Born in Cleveland and a proud 1943 Shaw High School graduate, Lucille met her beloved husband Jim in school. Knowing how much she loved to dance, Jim learned to dance just to impress her, the start of a lifelong love story filled with joy and devotion.

Lucille was an active sports lover, enjoying both baseball and tennis, and she still cheers passionately for Ohio State. She spent many years working as a secretary, known for her kindness, dedication, and warm spirit. Together, she and Jim raised two daughters and now celebrate four wonderful grandchildren.

She also shared her musical talents with others, playing the accordion and entertaining children with her lively performances. Growing up with one sister, Lucille developed a deep bond during wartime that lasted throughout their lives.

We are so lucky and honored to celebrate Lucille and her remarkable century of memories, resilience, and love. 💙✨
