We are writing to you with exciting news about our practice.
We are in the end stages of finalizing an agreement with Cleveland Clinic. The plan is that as of November 3, 2025, we will be joining Cleveland Clinic’s Obstetrics & Gynecology Institute. Our practice location will remain at 6555 Frank Ave NW, North Canton, OH 44720. Our office name will change to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Outpatient Center, North Canton. After the acquisition, we will be performing obstetric deliveries and hospital care solely at Cleveland Clinic Mercy. We will provide surgical services at Cleveland Clinic Mercy and Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital.
Please be assured that you do not need to worry about transferring your medical records as they will be transferred with us. During this transition from November 3 to November 17, 2025, our office location will be closed for renovation as well as provider and staff orientation and medical record training. Please let us know in advance if you anticipate a prescription refill. For appointments and other needs during down time, please call (330) 956-5300. There will be a nurse and provider available via phone to answer your questions or concerns.
Some OB and urgent GYN appointments may need to occur during this time. During that time, any needed obstetric ultrasound will be done at Maternal Fetal Medicine.

Any daytime deliveries may be done by Dr. Burkett but our physicians are anticipated to be taking evening and overnight call during those two weeks.
When you see us as Cleveland Clinic, your ongoing health records will be available in MyChart, offering you convenient online access to your health information, regardless of which Cleveland Clinic physician you see.
If you have questions or concerns about your insurance coverage, please call 844.500.9451. Please be sure to bring your driver’s license and health insurance card to your visit, as well as any co-payment due at time of service. A portion of our patients have Aultcare insurance. We will continue to be in-network providers with Aultcare, even for those who obtain their insurance coverage through the Aultman employee plans. PLEASE DO NOT BE ALARMED IF YOU RECEIVE A NOTICE FROM YOUR INSURANCE CARRIER THAT WE ARE NO LONGER A CONTRACTED PROVIDER. This is an automatic letter from insurances generated when we remove Generation Women's Health's tax identification number. We will be contracted through Cleveland Clinic’s tax identification number!
