We’re excited to share this Richmond BizSense feature on the Center for Creative Healing and the growth behind the scenes that made it possible. From opening a solo music therapy practice in 2009, to welcoming you to this reimagined space. It reflects years of intention, dedication, and care from an incredible team committed to creating accessible, creative, and healing spaces for our community.

From becoming our own landlord in Chesterfield to relocating and expanding into Henrico and Charlottesville, this next chapter allows us to better serve you and your loved ones with the same heart and integrity we’ve always led with.

Special thank you to Betsy Mangum of Sperity Ventures for support throughout the process!

If you’ve been thinking about prioritizing your mental and emotional wellness, consider this your reminder. Come see the space in person and commit to a healthy mind and heart in 2026.

✨ 2025 WRAPPED ✨

As we look back on 2025, we’re filled with gratitude for a year defined by growth, connection, and meaningful care at the Center for Creative Healing.

This year, our team supported thousands of clients through individual and group therapy, expanded our reach across Richmond and Charlottesville, and partnered with dozens of facilities including those served through our TBI grant. We celebrated major milestones like purchasing our Midlothian building, moving into a more accessible space in Willow Lawn, and opening our doors in Charlottesville.

Our work reached beyond the therapy room with multiple media features, two award nominations, and continued investment in the future of the field through supervising and mentoring the next generation of therapists.

None of this happens without the trust of our clients, the dedication of our team, and the support of our community. Thank you for being part of our story in 2025. We’re excited to keep growing, healing, and creating together in 2026. 💚

💛 You are the reason we’re here.

At The Center for Creative Healing, everything we do begins with our clients in mind. Your stories, your growth, your healing journey—it’s what drives us forward.

The most powerful way we’ve grown isn’t through ads or campaigns—it’s through you. Clients and community partners who’ve experienced the impact of our work often share it with others, and that word-of-mouth support means everything.

Thank you for trusting us with your healing. 🌿
