Not sure whether to book a self pay therapist or one who bills insurance? You’re not alone. It’s one of the most common questions we hear.

✨ Both options can lead to meaningful healing. The difference is simply how sessions are paid for and how goals are structured.

💳 Insurance therapy
Focused on treating diagnosable concerns like anxiety or depression. Your records and progress are shared with the insurance company.

🎵 Self pay creative therapy
A more flexible therapy option that’s focused on YOU and doesn't face requirements of insurance-based therapy. Maintain your privacy, avoid wait times, and often save with this option.

We’re Growing — With Intention 🌿

At The Center for Creative Healing, growth has always meant deepening our impact — not just expanding our size.

As we continue adding locations and strengthening our team, we are implementing EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) to support clarity, communication, and sustainability.

This includes an exciting leadership evolution:
✨ Anna McChesney — Visionary
✨ Alyssa Hayes — Integrator
✨ Kristin Vitko — Clinical Director
✨ Erin Mowles — Director of Operations

This structure helps us:
• Support clinicians
• Improve communication
• Strengthen our culture
• Enhance client care
• Grow sustainably

Our goal remains the same:
Facilitating growth through creativity, compassion, and connection.

We’re excited about this next chapter and grateful for this incredible community.

✨ Only 2 Spots Left ✨

Grief can be heavy, messy, and often hard to put into words. This 6-week group is for anyone who feels tired of “talking it out” and wants to try something different - working it out with their hands.

We use clay because it’s malleable, transformative, and doesn’t care if you’re a “good artist.”

🤲 The Goal
You’re not here to become a master artist. You’re here to take something heavy and formless and shape it into something you can actually hold. You’ll be guided through a variety of clay projects designed to support your grief process.

🎨 Facilitators
Jennifer Whilden, Art Therapy Intern and clay artist of 30+ years, will guide you through a somatic, hands-on approach to processing grief—while building connection and community.

Kara Wilson, LPC, ATR-P, is an art therapist who integrates creativity, mindfulness, and a trauma-informed, person-centered approach to support healing. She is especially passionate about helping adults navigate identity, relationships, and life transitions while holding space for self-compassion and personal growth.

📅 Details
Thursdays | 6:00–7:30 PM
April 9 – May 14
📍 The Center for Creative Healing
