It is Friday! This week's fact is related to Veterans as we honor those who served our country this week. Did you know CNSNE participates in the Veteran's Community Care Network? We proudly provide care to Veterans under home health, hospice, and non-skilled home care services. Patients and/or their family members are able to request CNSNE by asking for our agency by name, Community Nursing Services of North East.

We would like to once again thank all those who served to protect our freedoms and those who are currently serving. Most of all, we would like to thank the members of our CNSNE family who served:

It is Friday. Today's fact is about Hospice. In May 2003, CNSNE received Medicare Hospice certification. The agency added additional staff to begin the hospice program including a Volunteer Coordinator, Bereavement Coordinator, Social Worker, Medical Director, and the agency trained the first class of 6 volunteers. CNSNE takes pride in knowing that the same staff members who care for you and your loved ones under Home Health also care for their patients under the Hospice program; keeping a patient’s care consistent.
Remember when you need Home Health and Hospice, you do have a choice. Ask for Community Nursing Services of North East by name.

It is Fun Fact Friday! Did you know that is 1985 the Agency's name was changed from North East Home Health Agency to Community Nursing Services of North East? CNSNE is 1 of 11 agencies in Erie County that provides "visiting nurses" within the community but to receive our services you or loved one must ask for us by name. Otherwise, you will be given another agency.

Remember you do have a choice! Community Nursing Services of North East collaborates with all local referral sources as well as referral sources in Buffalo, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh.
