So we have an in house challenge going on 💪🏻 between Jimmy Roberts & Christie Yancey. He seems to think he can out do her with our current fundraiser! So I threw in a jar of my Cowboy Candy & we shall see who gets it. Jimmy 🤠 is boasting that he will win. Has he met Christie😂?! So Team Christie peeps….lets get this going‼️

As we are heading into our Christmas Program season we have a lot to think about. Yesterday Jimmy & I had a long conversation about trying to normalize us helping the working class 💪🏻 Our program has never been about helping anyone that does not help themselves. Jimmy has always stood firm that one of the criteria for our Christmas families should be that at least one parent has a job! Many times people make comments to us about helping “the needy”, but that is not who our program is for.
By definition, needy is-
“Economically needy individuals are poor or lack basic necessities like food and shelter.”

We do not seek out “the needy”, as there are already holiday programs available to them that are income based. We seek out working class families that are able to take care of their children as far as food, shelter, and basic everyday life! These are the people that work hard, pay bills & may or may not have anything left after the bills are paid! We understand some fall on hard times by job loss, medical issues or life happenings. We just felt like we wanted everyone to understand our purpose with our Christmas Program. Jimmy wants to be able to lend a hand to those that are trying hard & just make sure that Christmas is not an added stressor, rather a time to for us to bless them & celebrate their hard work all year so they can finally relax & enjoy their family🫶🏻
