Virtual implant placement.
Millimeter-by-millimeter adjustments before the first incision.

Precise implant positioning is critical to a stable, long-lasting reverse total shoulder replacement.

As the only surgeon in the Northeast performing robotic-assisted reverse total shoulder replacements, Dr. Anbari uses the advanced planning software shown here to optimize the baseplate, screw angles, and fixation depth for each patient's specific anatomy.

Innovation in motion, one shoulder at a time.

Numb fingers. Sleepless nights. Increasing pain in the dominant hand.
For many patients, this is what carpal tunnel looks like before treatment.

That’s often when people turn to a hand specialist.

Dr. Kardestuncer helps patients understand what’s really happening inside the wrist, why symptoms worsen, and when surgery becomes the right next step.

For many patients with nighttime numbness, severe tingling, and loss of function in the dominant hand, treating both sides is part of the plan.

Clear expectations matter. From recovery timelines to anesthesia and planning for help at home, Dr. Kardestuncer makes sure patients know what to expect so they can move forward with confidence.

After shoulder surgery, not all slings are created equal.

This patient is wearing an ultrasling, designed to keep the arm in a protective position that supports healing after fracture repair.

This ultrasling does more than a traditional sling:
✅ Positions the shoulder in an anatomically protective angle
✅ Reduces strain on repaired tissue
✅ Supports recovery while keeping circulation and grip strength active

Proper fitting in the clinic prevents complications like frozen shoulder or nerve compression. It also ensures straps, pillows, and angles are set correctly for each patient’s body and surgery.

Just like all aspects of care, we want your sling to work for you and your recovery.

After spine surgery, a brace is often prescribed to provide extra support while the body heals. But it’s not meant to be worn forever.

At his post-op visit, Dr. Patel reassures this patient that the brace is now just for comfort and is optional for longer walks, but is no longer medically required.

So why use a brace in the first place?

✅ Provides extra support and stability while tissues heal
✅ Limits small painful movements in the spine
✅ Reduces strain on muscles and joints, easing discomfort
✅ Reminds patients to maintain safe posture and alignment
✅ Offers psychological reassurance during early recovery

By 6–7 weeks post-op, many patients begin tapering off bracing. At that point, the brace becomes a comfort tool rather than a medical necessity.

Some patients still choose to continue wearing a brace past their 6 week post op visit for confidence on long outings, while others prefer to go without to rebuild muscle strength.

Every recovery is different. Only your surgeon can determine when it’s safe to stop using a brace, so your post-op visit is essential in making this decision with your provider.

No lat pull-down? No problem.

Finding upper body pull exercises to do at home can be challenging, but strengthening your back muscles is one of the best ways to support shoulder health and posture.

Watch how Christian anchors two bands to the top of a door to mimic a lat pull-down. He doubles the rep count from 15 to 30 to account for the lighter resistance compared to a cable machine.

Another key tip for shoulder rehab homework? Keep your traps down!

The trapezius (trap) muscles in your upper back and neck are big movers that tend to “take over” from the smaller stabilizers — a concept called synergistic dominance.

You can watch how Christian exaggerates the traps coming up and then cues to keep the shoulders nice and low before pulling.

Whether you’re pre-surgery, recovering from shoulder surgery, or working to avoid surgery, adding banded pull work at home can help - just remember: keep your traps down.

Epidural injections aren’t the first step in treating back pain, but for the right patient, they can be life-changing.

Epidural steroid injections deliver medication directly around irritated nerves in the spine, reducing inflammation, easing pain, and helping patients move forward with recovery.

At Orthopedic Partners, specialists like Dr. Gauthier use image guidance to ensure precision and safety with every injection.

Testimonials like Ann’s highlight the importance of combining advanced pain management with compassionate care. At Orthopedic Partners, our goal is always the same: to help patients move forward without pain.

🙏 Thank you, Ann, for sharing your story.
