Want my Refuge Yoga to come online to you?? Although Lizzy & I did get the the go ahead to offer our work again but still in SD small, sacred numbers, we also know some are waiting it out & still needing to stay at home for a time..
I’ve decided it was time to figure out Zoom ( tech savvy I am not!) & get ready to dish up some of my own Refuge Yoga 1:1 private classes and some larger group glasses from wherever YOU are!!
One thing about my building an online platform is that so many yogis I taught years ago showed up to sign right up!! Humbled we can reunite though I am no where near! My hope too is to meet new people & give them all the heart of this yoga thing!! ( alongside sincere instruction!)
REFUGE YOGA is the name I renamed Road Home after the most life altering few years where my soul was crushed & sought out a safe place like never before. Hence, REFUGE.
Which made me think of others who go thru stuff of life too!! At this time, I’m most interested in offering yoga simply as a space for you to take Refuge from whatever is occurring in your life. To say nothing about the global suffering. Strength and flexibility will resurface or build as we keep getting on mat! Let’s breathe, move & be a stand for grace thru life’s grit! Let’s empower each other to move , breathe and let our minds, hearts and bodies be healed, heard, strengthened and some luggage of life have room to be moved THROUGH. Life is hard AF- Let’s take Refuge together!

Just my quiet thoughts. True human Suffering is NOT an ego trip. It’s the deepest soul pain. It’s a spiritual crisis under the battle and our streets as battle ground. Like many, I see countless videos, and pictures of the riots, the rage, the protest, tear gas hitting a young child’s eyes, Antifa, animals being hurt, people pushed on the ground and yet..
I think the harder thing under the riots, the fight, the spray paint on a starbucks is to pause & sit & feel the harder grief- the sorrow, the pain of sincere human suffering. There is so much anger because there is so much human pain under it all. While roaring & raising our roofs, let’s also sit with this .. genuine enormous grief, loss, and pain, trauma. Having felt your own gives a different level of feeling another’s. Your soul’s voice will better rise - more humbled than hostile, raw strength bolder than just screaming and shouting - RIP to those our collective world could not keep safe through the shadow & segregation & separation of all this human crisis.. Lets not normalize “I can’t breathe.”
