What is dating abuse? Dating abuse is a pattern of destructive behaviors that exerts power and control over a dating partner. While we define dating violence as a pattern, that doesn’t mean the first instance of abuse is not dating violence. It just recognizes that dating violence usually involves a series of abusive behaviors over a course of time.

A proposed US Department of Education rule would exclude nursing from the definition of a “professional degree,” cutting federal loan eligibility for graduate nursing students to half of what medical students can borrow. At a time of workforce shortages, this could make MSN, DNP, and APRN pathways harder to access and weaken the pipeline of advanced practice nurses.
