Vein ablation is a minimally invasive treatment for varicose veins.

A small catheter delivers heat energy to close the diseased vein, allowing blood to reroute to healthy veins and improve circulation.

The procedure is performed in the office and typically takes 10-15 minutes.

Patients usually walk immediately after treatment and return to normal activity quickly.

Ignoring varicose veins can allow vein disease to progress over time. What starts as visible veins or mild discomfort can eventually lead to swelling, skin changes, bleeding, and even venous ulcers.

Early evaluation and treatment can help prevent complications and protect long-term leg health.

Vein disease isn’t diagnosed by appearance alone.

A simple venous ultrasound allows us to see how blood is flowing and whether the valves in your veins are working properly.

The test is painless, takes about 15–30 minutes, and gives us the information needed to choose the right treatment.

Early diagnosis can prevent symptoms from progressing.

Not all veins are the same.

Spider veins are small surface veins, while varicose veins are larger, bulging veins often caused by deeper vein problems.

Understanding the difference is the first step toward effective treatment.

Varicose veins develop when the small valves inside leg veins weaken over time. This allows blood to flow backward and pool, causing veins to enlarge and become visible.

Several factors increase the risk, including genetics, pregnancy, prolonged standing, aging, and weight gain.

The good news: vein disease is very common and highly treatable when evaluated early.

If you notice bulging veins, leg heaviness, swelling, or skin changes, it may be time for a vein evaluation.

Pelvic Congestion Syndrome (PCS) is a vascular condition involving enlarged pelvic veins.

It may be considered in patients with:

• Chronic pelvic discomfort
• Symptoms often worse with standing, in*******se, and menstruation
• Persistent pain despite normal routine testing

If you’ve been living with ongoing pelvic pain, a vascular evaluation may be appropriate as part of a broader assessment.

Heavy legs at night aren’t just “tired.”

They can be a sign of venous reflux or chronic venous insufficiency.

If your legs feel:
• Achy
• Tight
• Restless
• Swollen by evening

Your veins may not be doing their job.

Healthy veins push blood back to the heart.
When they don’t, pressure builds — and your legs pay the price.

Common doesn’t mean normal.
And it’s treatable.

This patient presented to us with debilitating back and hip pain with walking. Having seen several orthopedic surgeons, she was eventually sent to us for workup

This iliac artery occlusion was treated in minutes by using stents without need for any incisions. The patient walked out from the procedure no longer in pain.

If walking pain, leg fatigue, or non-healing wounds are slowing you down, there may be a simple, minimally invasive solution.
