This just in! Valley Community Healthcare applauds the LA County Board of Supervisors for voting to place the Essential Services Restoration Act on the June ballot. 👏

This means voters will decide whether to approve a temporary half-cent sales tax to protect critical healthcare services at a time of state and federal funding reductions. The proposed measure would last five years, through Oct. 1, 2031.

🩺 This is a big step forward for healthcare in LA County! We were proud to attend and comment during yesterday’s vote, and we look forward to standing with our community to protect essential services for LA County families in need.

Our doctors and healthcare specialists serve an estimated 22,300 men, women, children, teens, and seniors annually. Our goal is to provide easily accessible, comprehensive, and affordable medical care to every family member, while reducing visits to emergency rooms and urgent care facilities.
