June 14-21 is National Nursing Assistants Week! We at Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care thank our wonderful CNAs for their caring touch that means so much! We also extend our thanks to all of the nursing assistants throughout our community, where they are key players in the lives of the people in their care. Each day, more than 4.5 million caregivers provide hands-on care to our nation’s frail, elderly, or chronically challenged citizens in diverse care settings. To all CNAs, thank you for making a difference each and every day!

This two-session class on easing grief through art takes place over two days. Art allows a creative language of expression, even if you feel you are not artistic. Art uses all your senses and can take you out of the logical, rational brain to another place.
