This center is home to an incredible team offering:• Individual and relationship counseling• Family, child, and teen therapy• Life coaching• Pediatric speech therapy

This environment is a perfect complement to the work I do, especially for clients navigating grief, emotional overwhelm, and for children who are sensitive or energetically aware.

Healing is not one-size-fits-all. It works best when emotional, mental, and energetic support are available together, and this space allows for exactly that.

✨ Pediatric + Teen Reiki is back at Sacred Soul Healing ✨

After some time away, I’m opening the door once again to Reiki sessions for children and teens 🤍

Kids today carry so much….academic pressure, emotional intensity, changing family dynamics, social stress, and constant stimulation. When their nervous systems become overwhelmed, it can show up as anxiety, sleep struggles, emotional outbursts, or simply feeling “off.”

Pediatric & Teen Reiki offers gentle, non-invasive support to help calm the nervous system and restore balance. Sessions are child-led, nurturing, and adapted to each child or teen’s comfort level. There is no pressure to talk, explain, or perform, just space to settle, soften, and reset.

I’ve been honored to support children and families for several years, including sensitive kids, anxious teens, and those navigating emotional or energetic overwhelm. This work has always held a special place in my heart, and it feels deeply aligned to bring it back.

The healing center I sublet from just sold, and I suddenly have dozens of clients and nowhere to see them.

This scene in caught my attention.

Max isn’t trying to erase the memory or force Holly to “feel better.” She keeps orienting her to the present, reminding her where she is, that she’s safe now, and that what she’s seeing already happened. They move through the memory together instead of letting her get swallowed by it.

That’s very similar to how TIME techniques work.

TIME isn’t about reliving trauma or digging up pain for the sake of it. It’s about helping the mind and body understand when something happened. Trauma has a way of collapsing time, making the past feel like it’s happening right now. TIME gently separates then from now.

As the memory is accessed, the nervous system is repeatedly brought back to the present moment:

You’re here. You’re safe. This is over.

The memory doesn’t disappear…but it stops hijacking the system. The emotional charge softens because the brain finally updates the timeline. That moment when someone realizes, “This happened to me, but it’s not happening anymore,” is where regulation and relief begin.

The Upside Down loses its grip when the body remembers it made it out.
