🌑✨ Blood Moon Eclipse & Havel 🌕🔥

my sister looped me in as they were witnessing the blood moon eclipse back home in South Africa that sparked our conversation on Hevel the ancient Hebrew word from Ecclesiastes.
A blood moon eclipse is a cosmic unveiling, a moment when the Earth, Moon, and Sun align, and the shadow of the Earth transforms the face of the Moon into a deep red glow. It is a time of reckoning, revelation, and release. Eclipses in ancient traditions were understood as portals: endings and beginnings braided together, a thinning of the veil where truths once hidden emerge.

In the language of Qohelet, this red moon could be called a mirror of Havel:
• Just as the moon glows with borrowed light, our lives too are reflections, impermanent, passing, fragile as breath.
• Just as the eclipse turns the familiar face of the moon into something haunting and strange, so too does Havel remind us that all things shift, all things are fleeting.
• The blood hue speaks of life, sacrifice, mortality, and transformation. It echoes the truth that even in impermanence there is mystery, beauty, and divine order.

When we hold the eclipse through the lens of Havel, we are invited to contemplate:

✨ What illusions am I clutching that dissolve like v***r?
✨ What cycles of my life are reaching their shadow’s fullness, asking to be eclipsed?
✨ How do I release the grasping for permanence and instead rest in awe of the sacred breath of each moment?

It’s good to see yourself as you truly are.

Here I sit barefoot in the grass by the Nile’s edge, draped in gold, bathed in the soft glow of the Luxor dusk. My auric field basking in simplicity, grounded in the earth, open to the sky.

My smile carries the warmth of my heart, the warmth of this ancient land. My posture holds both contemplation and reverence, resting in the in-between: nature, spirit, and the human journey.

Grateful for the not-knowing. Grateful for the unfolding. Grateful for all that is.

✨ Soft Power, Sacred Timing

Lately, many of us have been walking the thin line between surrender and strength.
Old stories resurface, not to haunt, but to test our embodiment.
We’re learning to hold the charge of desire without collapsing into it.
To stay open… even when the path forward is unclear.

Astrologically we are being asked to to listen between the noise.

As Sufi mystic Hazrat Inayat Khan once said:

“The soul of all is one soul, and the truth is one truth, under whatever religion it is hidden.”

There is nothing to force.
Only rhythms to align with, truths to uncover, and dignity to reclaim in how we meet what comes.

So if it feels like you’re being stretched, it’s because you are.
And if you’re being asked to wait it’s not punishment, it’s preparation.

Integrative Sunset Ritual (Bermuda-Inspired)
1. Watch the sunset over the North Atlantic, breathe deeply, letting go of what you’re ready to release.
2. Ground yourself on the sand or rocky shores; feel the earth beneath.
3. As twilight deepens and the New Moon sky emerges, hold an intention (related to home, healing, growth…Cancer strengths).
4. Optional: Write your intention on paper; once the sky darkens fully under the New Moon, safely burn it.

“Where the River Still Knows”
(Visiting my birth father in Joinville-le-Pont & Vincennes, Paris on my way to Egypt.)

« In the quiet folds of Paris’ eastern edge, where the cobblestones soften beneath sycamore shade, and the Marne river hums its slow, remembering song, you sit half here, half somewhere I cannot follow.

Vincennes holds its hush like an old friend, ivy-wrapped balconies watching time drift by. The château stands solid, worn like the parts of you that memory hasn’t claimed.

In Joinville-le-Pont, the water glints with stories we never told each other and now never will but somehow feel.

You forget who I am after a while but I know who you are. Not from childhood, but from now, from when I was thirty and you re-entered my life, from this sacred chapter where love shows up not in history, but in presence.

So today, as the boats glide by and the roses bloom against stucco walls,
I honor you not for what we had, but for what we’ve found. »
