Linerz Bump Cap Hat Inserts

Linerz Bump Cap Hat Inserts help to protect against minor bumps, bruises and abrasions. Bump Cap Inse Linerz are durable and last a long time.

Linerz offer comfort, ventilation and versatility to provide light protection against minor bumps, bruises, cuts and abrasions. All of our inserts come with 47 ventilation holes for maximum breathability and they will not absorb sweat so they stay light on your head. Depending on hat style and the Linerz insert you choose, you may have to go up a hat size or two to make room for the insert and have a proper fit. The protective liner is removable and cleans easily with a little soap and water, let air dry. Over time foam will naturally degrade so be sure to review your Linerz monthly to see if it's time for a replacement. Linerz also help to make a hat that is too big fit more snug - they are great for cancer patients who have lost their hair and it allows them to wear their favorite hat again. Linerz also can act as a hat display & stabilizer for those hats that have lost their shape. Bump Caps are NOT designed for use in ANSI hard hat designated areas or for any location or movement where serious injury to the head may occur. Linerz Inserts offer additional protection against minor bumps, cuts & bruises. They are not to be worn in place of a helmet. Please use the proper safety equipment that is required for your occupation, work environment, medical use or otherwise. Bump Caps have limited application for occupational use and are not always a proper substitute for industrial head protection identified in the ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 standard, which is codified by OSHA.

All of our Linerz Inserts are trim-to-fit ✂️ The diagram seen here is for a trim method that works great for fitting smaller hats - just remove what is inside the red lines. Always remove foam in small increments until the desired custom fit is achieved.

We wanted to share this touching email we received recently from a customer regarding our Linerz products:

"I just wanted to say; I received my order today, 1/8" soft & hardshell. Didn't take much to get them in and you can't tell, by looking at the wearer, that there's anything other than a normal ball cap. For me, I have a cancer that makes my bones porous and brittle.....yes, including my skull. I feel much better having the thin layer of protection. I'll feel better golfing (errant tee shots from others) or just plain going out. I know this won't stop everything, but I may just save my life. 'Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it'. Great product and I was sold on the price!

I've been wearing them everyday (I'm a hat guy lol) and definitely during my rounds of golf. I no longer cringe when 'fore' is yelled. Surprisingly, it's kept my head cooler, which I thought would be just the opposite. I've found out that when I used to play golf, my hat would soak with sweat, making my head/body over heat, but your product doesn't absorb sweat, keep my head dry and allowing the air to circulate more, thus my head stays cooler. Very easy to clean as well. I'll be recommending these to everyone I meet."

We just received another great review of our 1/4" Linerz and wanted to share it with all of you. We appreciate any and all feedback on our products - it's what makes us better.

"I actually work under a lift all day and have a couple of bump caps already, ALL of the bump caps I've tried are extremely hot and uncomfortable. These things are awesome! I used the 1/4" thick version in one of my hats and I have to say it's the coolest "bump cap" I've used. I actually think the 1/4 foam also absorbs impact better than the typical bump cap with that hard plastic shell insert.
