Everyone has moments they want to hold onto forever. Lisa Wilkinson dreamed of sharing laughter with her loved ones by the water—and with LifeTouch Health, she made it happen.

Lisa soaked in every moment—laughing, smiling, and savoring time with her family. She chose Jack’s Fishing Resort in Mountain View along Sylamore Creek—a place filled with meaning, where she raised her children fishing and once shared a final trip with her father before his passing. It felt only right to return there with her son, Dustin, and sister, Brenda, to make one more cherished memory.

The day ended with a meal at JoJo’s Catfish Wharf, enjoying her favorite foods. This was more than a fishing trip; it was a gift of joy, dignity, and love—and a reminder of the power of meaningful moments that touch lives.

Do you want to make a difference in the new year? Volunteer with the state’s largest nonprofit provider of hospice care. As Arkansas Hospice becomes LifeTouch Health, we’re the same team and same nonprofit organization – now offering more services and impacting more lives in more ways. Volunteer opportunities include making phone calls or personal visits to patients receiving care in homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or the Ottenheimer Inpatient Center in Little Rock; sitting with patients to relieve caregivers; helping with office work; and specialized areas such as sewing and pet therapy.
