Our job is not to feed the 5000 but to provide the loaves and fishes.

You cannot control things. You can only develop the ability to respond, to cultivate peace within yourself and be peace in the world.

Our call is to be fully aware and present to the 3 feet in front of us. Do what is yours to do.

A Small Group for Sandplay
Led by Jodie Goens, MA

This small group will have monthly themes will use inspirational readings that follow the seasons of the Christian year, the calendar year, and also the seasons of life. The rhythm of the group will include meditation, breath exercises, readings to ponder, sandplay, quiet reflection, sharing & journaling.
Meetings will be held once a month on Tuesdays, 1-2:30 p.m. or 6-7:30 p.m.

This is an open group. Attend as you are able and whenever you could use a time for quiet reflection and restoration.
Group size is limited to eight.

NLRFUMC First Kids played in the sand last night. They got slow and quiet-like turtles! They listened with their hearts. They used their imaginations to create 'sand worlds' and then told wonderful stories of life and faith! Children are full of wisdom. They share it with us when we slow down and listen.
