With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Stuart David Mullins on November 11, 2025, at the age of 65. Stuart was a brave and outspoken soul, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Stuart was known for his compassionate nature and his willingness to speak his mind with honesty and integrity. Stuart's presence will surely be missed. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to live on in our hearts.
A proud supporter of his home state, Stuart was an enthusiastic fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks, the Arkansas Travelers, and the UALR Trojans. His love for local sports reflected his deep connection to his community and his Arkansas roots.

🌌 The northern lights danced across Arkansas last night

This incredible photo was captured over our very first funeral home, Roller Funeral Home in Mountain Home, by Melanie Middleton (). What a moment to remember.

The aurora borealis rarely reaches this far south, but due to a powerful solar storm, the skies lit up in vibrant shades of red and purple! Will we get green tonight?

According to the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center, there’s still a strong chance of visibility in Arkansas again this evening between 6 PM and 9 PM.

👉 So grab your camera, step outside, and look toward the northern horizon.
If you're lucky enough to capture the northern lights, we’d love to see it ! Tag us or drop your photos in the comments and help us celebrate this rare and stunning phenomenon.

Thank you again, Melanie, for sharing this beautiful image with all of us.

Changing careers, he received a Registered Nurse degree from Baptist School of Nursing in 1997. While in school, he was selected ''outstanding student'' by his peers. Walter and his spouse, Jay Pace, shared 35 years together. They loved traveling and spending time at their lake house in Hot Springs. Walter was known for entertaining family and friends with his love for cooking. His dry sense of humor and light heartedness made people feel special and loved. He was always there for others, with his gift of selflessness. Not only a caregiver to patients, Walter was also a caregiver to his family and friends. Their home was always open. Not only was he a good cook he was a fantastic designer and decorated their home beautifully. Especially at Christmas, his nieces and nephews were in awe of their tree and decorations. Walter could build anything. After losing three boat houses due to weather, the only part left standing was the boat dock that Walter built.

Sarah Faith Groom was born on March 12th, 2001, and departed this earth on September 24th, 2025. Sarah’s love for driving and traveling was reflected in the countless miles she
accumulated on her vehicles. Her fondness for flowers and all shades of pink and burgundy was a defining characteristic. She was an avid reader and Harry Potter fan.

Sarah was a fiercely loyal friend, devoted to those she loved and quick to forgive the people she loved. Her innate sense of compassion compelled her to assist those in need. Although petite in stature, she made up for it with grit and stubbornness. One word to encapsulate her essence was feisty!

Sarah held a special place in her heart for children who have experienced trauma and are in foster care. She lent her voice to causes advocating for such children with a particular fondness for the Court Appointed Special Advocate Program (CASA). As a speaker at CASA events and participant in video productions, Sarah hoped to utilize her life experiences and insights to highlight the necessity for more individuals to foster, adopt and advocate.

We are deeply grieved by our loss of Sarah, but we are grateful she is in the arms of the
Heavenly Father.

She leaves behind her mother, Donna Moore; brothers, Sterling Edwards (wife Madison), Michael Duncan, Johnny Duncan, and Dustin Moore; nieces, Dezirae, Izabella, and Aurora; nephew, Saxon; cousins, Brianna McDaniel (Amiyah and Alayah), Whitney Truitt (Elijah, Phoenix, and Ollie), and Corey Moss; Nana, Theresa Duncan Gunderman; and Aunt, Sarah Hatch (Jill Emery).

She leaves behind her adoptive family, her parents, Bruce and Xanthoula Groom; sisters,
Natalie and Veronica Groom; brother, Nathan Groom; niece, Mariah Groom and nephew,
Xander Groom; aunt and uncle, Katerina and Nickolaos Zafiriou; cousins, Savvas and Romanos Zafiriou; Aunt, Sylvie Evdoxiadis, uncle, Erastos Evdoxiadis; cousins, Celeste and Theo Evoxiadis; Aunts and uncles, Tony and Janet Groom, Stan and Monica Groom, and Tom and Rita Sebranek; as well as numerous other cousins.

She leaves behind her special friends, Court Appointed Special Advocate, Terry Gregory and former Family Service Worker, Crystal Bradley.

She is preceded in death by her aunt, Shonda Duncan; her Papa, John Duncan; maternal
grandmother, Joanne Haywood; maternal grandparents, Bobbis and Mary Evdoxiadis; and paternal grandmother, Shirley Groom.
