So often our voices get buried under layers of fears and judgments from culture and society. If you ever felt difficulty in expressing yourself or the words just can’t come out, vocal sound healing moves stuck energy out the throat and body.
So many believe that they must have a beautiful singing voice like Beyonce to use their voice for healing and this is not true! Give yourself permission to howl, hum, and sing in whatever way your body and soul is asking. It connects us to our ancestors, self, and spirit.
Try this short vocal exercise for 3 minutes, 3 times a week.
Get in a comfortable sitting or laying down position, take five deep breaths, and start to become aware of your body. Then, close your eyes and mouth, start humming like a bee, and notice how the vibrations travel through your body and out the throat. After three minutes, take a moment to notice your body and mind after this exercise.
