Founder of Compassion’s Gate Counseling

I specialize in helping clients overcome depression, anxiety, trauma, codependency, and substance use disorders. With over 20 years of experience in behavioral health and more than a decade as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I offer a compassionate, holistic approach rooted in trauma-informed care. My goal is to walk alongside you with empathy, helping you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors—while supporting healing of the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. In our first sessions, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy and identify the patterns, relationships, and life experiences that may be contributing to your current challenges. Together, we’ll create a personalized healing plan that reflects your strengths, goals, and values. I draw from evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and wellness-based practices, integrating tools that promote emotional regulation, self-awareness, and inner resilience. Clients often tell me they feel deeply heard and supported in our work together. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, feeling overwhelmed, struggling with addiction, or just trying to reconnect with yourself, therapy can be a powerful space for growth. Many of my clients begin to notice relief within the first month, with continued progress as we build insight, develop practical coping tools, and strengthen the ability to respond to life with greater clarity and compassion. I named my practice Compassion’s Gate because I believe compassion is not only the foundation of effective therapy—it’s the doorway to transformation.
