🌈 How Color Therapy Affects the Body
1. Light as Energy:
Each color has a specific wavelength and vibration. When light enters the eyes or shines on the skin, it sends signals to the hypothalamus, influencing the endocrine system, hormones, and circadian rhythms.
2. Nervous System Regulation:
Different colors stimulate or calm the autonomic nervous system. For instance, blue light tends to activate the parasympathetic (rest and digest) response, while red light activates the sympathetic (energizing) response.
3. Cellular and Biophotonic Effects:
Cells emit and absorb light naturally (biophotons). Exposure to certain color wavelengths can influence cellular communication, mitochondrial activity, and blood circulation — similar in principle to red light therapy, though color therapy uses broader visible light.
4. Emotional and Psychological Resonance:
Colors affect neurotransmitter release and brainwave activity, shifting mood and perception. This is why environments with certain colors (like warm tones vs. cool tones) can feel relaxing or energizing.
Color therapy is used throughout Energy Wave treatment rooms and modalities, so each treatment benefits you in multiple ways. It’s a multi sensory experience for the mind, and spirit.
Color therapy is subtle, but has impactful benefits. Come see for yourself.
