Huge fan of baby wearing!

But as with all things, there are pros and cons.

Pros:
- mom and baby can coregulate
- mom has free hands to hug baby or do other tasks
- great workout for mom
- baby feels safe next to mom's chest

Cons:
- mom's upper back and neck can start to hurt due to extra weight in the front pulling her forward
- can be hard structurally on baby if in for a long time

If you have a baby that always wants to be held, I highly suggest wearing baby in a carrier for short periods of time.

Also highly recommend seeing us Move Mountains Chiropractic to ease your upper back and neck tension, and baby's nervous system from NEEDING to be held all the time.

You can just want their nervous system to be calm and fully functioning.

But some reasons we see newborns:
- c section
- poor latch
- colic
- constipation/gassy
- torticollis

Baby finally came at 42 weeks!

It's a boy 🩵

Ezra Douglas came flying into the world at 6:52pm last night. 8lbs 11oz and 21.25in long. He is so chill.

He was born at home with Natural Birth at Home and a surprise assist from Chloe Michelle Clauser . Literal dream team.

Can't wait for everyone to meet him.

Recovery is going well but we won't be back until at least the new year.

Dr. Pam is officially on maternity leave!Expect the office to be closed until at least mid December.Will let everyone kn...
