It's Day 36 of our 42 Days of Holiday Cheer and the 8th day of our 12 Days of Christmas festivities. David, our esteemed Culinary Director, and Kassie, our talented Sous Chef, went head-to-head in a thrilling milkshake contest celebrating Eight Maids-a-Milking. After residents sampled the decadent treats, Kassie's caramel apple pie shake was declared the winner. As the year comes to a close, we're delighted to extend Happy New Year wishes to our residents, families, and friends. Did you make sure to include black-eyed peas in your meal today for luck? We did the same.

Day 35 of our 42 Days of Holiday Cheer celebration is underway. We marked the occasion of New Year's Eve with an early celebration, participating in countdowns, toasts, and exchanging warm wishes to usher in the New Year together. Furthermore, we relished the seventh day of our 12 Days of Christmas Culinary Challenge,
7 garlic buttered shrimp over lemon infused rice pilaf with grilled asparagus. 7 swans a swimming
Our appreciation goes out to our staff, families, and residents for making the past year a memorable one, filled with laughter and togetherness.

🌟It is the 34th day of our 42 Days of Holiday Cheer and the 6th day of Christmas! Today our Culinary Team did a great job representing 6 geese a laying - trio of deviled eggs - traditional, shrimp cocktail, and maple bacon.

It is the 32nd day of our 42 Days of Holiday Cheer and the Culinary team’s 4th day of Christmas! Today our Culinary Team made Songbird Parfait-The Baltimore Oriole - mandarin oranges, vanilla pudding, coconut flakes to symbolize the Four Calling Birds.

🌟Day 31 of 42 Days of Holiday Cheer is here. Our 12 Days of Christmas Culinary Challenge continued on Day 3 with a delightful French cassoulet served with crostini, which proved to be a comforting and satisfying meal for our residents.

Today marks Day 30 of our 42 Days of Holiday Cheer and Day 2 of our 12 Days of Christmas Culinary Challenge. Our residents enjoyed a delightful Happy Hour celebration. We also observed Happy Kwanza, dedicating time to learn about its history and significance. This annual, non-religious cultural celebration, spanning from December 6th to January 1st, honors African American and Pan-African heritage, community, and culture.

🌟We have reached Day 29 of our 42 Days of Holiday Cheer celebration. Merry Christmas! Today, we presented gifts to our residents and launched our 12 Days of Christmas Culinary Celebration, which features special treats throughout the holiday season. Did you know the 12 Days of Christmas actually begin on Christmas Day? On the first day of Christmas, our culinary team served a delicious pear dessert, providing a sweet start to the celebration.

🌟On the 28th day of our 42 Days of Holiday Cheer, we marked a special occasion by lighting the last Christmas Eve candle, known as the Christ Candle, on our Advent Wreath, which represents the life of Christ. We also had the pleasure of listening to a reading of the Night Before Christmas.
