I think it is great to do yoga every day. We keep our joints fluid and our muscles stretched daily. Once a week yoga is sometimes like starting from square 1 each time.

Sometimes we don’t have an hour every day- but we probably have 15 min!

So I say- a little bit every day keeps the doctor away!

6 tips to master forward bends!

1. Bend from your hips, not your waist
2. Use your exhale to guide the depth of the movement
3. Elevate your hips if you are tight in the hamstrings
4. Engage your core muscles (pull your belly button toward the spine)
5. Relax your neck
6. Use a strap around the toes to gradually gain flexibility
