St Joseph Hospital School of Nurse Anesthesia

The program is currently located in Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence RI. St. To date, we have enrolled over 375 students into our program.

Joseph Hospital School of Nurse Anesthesia (SJHSNA) was founded by Associates in Anesthesia (AIA) and accredited in 1962. In 1990, the program, through a university affiliation, gave the students the opportunity to earn a Master of Science degree. In 2013, AIA formed a partnership with the Rhode Island College School of Nursing to create a program, which will offer a Master of Science in Nursing. Although many of our graduates practice as certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNA) in Rhode Island, we have graduates throughout the country.

Raymond was a graduate of Our Lady of Fatima Hospital School of Nurse Anesthesia. He was a 1975 graduate. Our thoughts are with his family.
