We need FDA approved testosterone dosing for women today! Women produce testosterone and experience a decline in perimenopause and menopause. Women seeking testosterone therapy as part of their menopause hormone therapy (MHT)/hormone replacement therapy (HRT) deserve access to testosterone and guidance for dosages. This guidance must come in the for of FDA approved testosterone for women. Retrofitting a male dose is allowing women to be denied access at the pharmacy and can result in improper dosing. Health equity now!

Total knee replacement post op day 74 (TKR POD 74). Here’s my scar update. I wear silicone scar tape all day. I remove that before bed and apply vitamin e gel or BioOil and massage the scar and knee cap. The scar is about 5” long and fading daily. I hope it’s almost undetectable this time next year.

Making my own branded merch is awesome. It allows me to buy quality shirts, bags, DTF transfers, etc. inexpensively and press as many as needed. Tonight’s shirt will be going to a badass advocate in the women’s health equity space.

Menobrain/menopause brain fog had me forgetting my menopause hormone therapy/hormone replacement therapyHRT/MHT last week. I forgot all these things on the very same evening I cohosted a screening of The M Factor Film 2: Before the Pause (Perimenopause) and discussed perimenopause, menopause, hormones, advocacy and prescription sourcing while participating on the post screening panel. A dedicated an entire evening to this conversation and then forgot to take care of myself.

Performing my due diligence before my next total knee replacement (TKR). After my left TKR in December of 2025, I ended up at urgent care and the ER with a scary reaction. I had wheals (severe hives), swollen hands and wrists and nasal congestion. I had to take steroids and use antihistamines (IV and oral). Before my next surgery (scheduled later this month), I wanted to know if the antibiotic was the culprit. It appears it was not the cause. The allergist/immunologist surmised that a confluence of things prompted the reaction. It could have been the trauma of surgery, inflammation and all the meds I was prescribed that prompted my reaction. I’ll be ready with steroids, my EpiPens and antihistamines should this reaction occur again. My orthopedic surgeon will use ibuprofen instead of Celebrex and Lovenox instead of Eliquis for my blood thinner (I have a predisposition to blood clots so a blood thinner is required). The antibiotics will not be changed.

If you’re in New England, I’m assembling my volunteer team for Belle of the Ball. Belle of the Ball supplies nominated HS students with prom gowns and accessories free of charge. I’ve been volunteering for years. It is one of my favorite events.

Last year, I assembled Team Whiny GYNie. If you’re interested in joining, the boutique shopping day is 4/11 at Hynes Convention Center in Boston. We have about a dozen team members so far. I supply all Team Whiny GYNie volunteers with a Whiny GYNie t-shirt.

If you’re interested in volunteering, please register at https://antons.com/belle/individual-volunteer-sign-up/. If you want to be part of my team, add that you’re affiliated with Team Whiny GYNie. You can also volunteer as an individual or as a member of another organization.

It’s a very rewarding experience.

I’d love for you to join us! The more the merrier.

I returned to my Pilates inspired reformer class 8.5 weeks post op from total knee replacement. I have to be really careful kneeling. It’s going to take a lot of work to get conditioned after this long away. Class was a challenge. The good news is I made it through and will be returning.

All my meetings and appointments were rescheduled due to the blizzard. I opted to take some time to do some self care. How are you occupying yourself during the blizzard? Not sponsored
