Today we raised $340 for the Share Food Share Love Food Pantry in Brookfield, IL!
A huge thank you to our amazing community at in Riverside for all your support!
If you’re interested in buying a candle, they’re available at The Treehouse in Riverside, IL for $10 each—100% of the proceeds go directly to the food pantry. Each candle is made from organic soy wax and pure essential oils.
I am sharing this to encourage others to find their own creative ways to help. If you can’t give financially right now, please don’t feel bad—times are tough for many of us. But even if you can’t donate money, there are still meaningful ways to make a difference.
When we didn’t have extra funds to give, I realized I could give my time and resources—so I started pouring candles.
Maybe you have a bit of time, or some supplies sitting around waiting to be used. Let’s think outside the box and find ways to support our community and neighbors together. ❤️

It’s OFFICIAL Y’ALL! Janie Crick, LMT has a treatment room for massage therapy and energy work!

After two years of mobile massage with some of my most dedicated clients ever, I have finally landed in a spot that feels like home! It’s been a roller coaster of a journey, but I hold deep gratitude for and all those involved in helping to bring to life! It’s a soft open for now, but I am taking massage clients 4 days a week in this sweet corner of Riverside, IL.

Hello and welcome (back) to my massage therapy page!

I’m excited to share some updates as I step into a new season of change—both in my life and in my practice.

The month of May will be my last month offering mobile massage therapy, and I’m feeling so grateful for everyone who welcomed me into their spaces over the past year and a half. I’ll be taking June off from massage work to focus on something very special—my wedding!

Then, beginning in July, I’ll start seeing clients in person at the newly renovated Treehouse, located at 1 Riverside Rd, Riverside, IL 60546. It’s a beautiful, calming space designed to support meaningful, restorative work—and I’m really looking forward to welcoming you there.

We can hardly believe that our first ticketed performance of this show is SOLD OUT! But then again, when we are surrounded by such an amazing community it's easy to feel supported by so many wonderful people like YOU!

This Friday's show will include a Hot Chocolate and Cookie bar at The Treehouse in Berwyn. Participants are invited to wear their pajamas as they enjoy this original puppet play for families by Janie Crick.

"The Story of Pequeño Cobayo: The Little Guinea Pig" transports children of all ages deep into the jungles of South America with a young traveler, gardener, and singer, Janie Cricket! Join as Janie finds her way back home in this adventurous story that teaches about stepping outside of our comfort zones, making new friends, and enjoying the wonders of life.

Stay tuned and follow this new page, THEATRE FOR LITTLES, curated by Janie Crick herself as more opportunities for classes and performances arise!

Due to inclimate weather, the Brookfield Fine Arts Festival will no longer take place at Kiwanis Park. The new location for the festival is now…

Riverside-Brookfield High School
160 Ridgewood Rd, Riverside, IL 60546

Festival times will remain the same.
9AM-4PM

All festival vendors will have their booths in the Cafeteria. Public can enter through the main doors.

I am excited to share that The Story of Pequeño Cobayo: The Little Guinea Pig will still be showing at the original listed times.
12PM & 2PM

Location of the performances are anticipated to be in the Atrium of the High School.
