So honored to be invited to celebrate Braxtyn today with her signing to run for the University of Findlay!

When I first met Braxtyn it was when she was playing basketball for Fremont Ross and Juan Vela invited me to come talk to his team, then her parents reached out for me to work with individually and learned she was going to put her all her focus into track. She kept up with regular sessions with me but also did all her wake-ups on her own and pretty much did what I asked of her to stay healthy! It has been a joy working with her and I can't wait to see what her collegiate career looks like!

Another S/O to my client Braxtyn at Indoor State Meet hitting two personal bests and finishing 4th in the 60M 7.87 and 5th in the 200M 25.53 next on to New Balance Nationals!

I see a lot of young athletes and usually when I get done with their sessions, their parents are like "ok we will see if they really do the things" and I all I say is, it is up to the athlete but you would be surprised how many actually come back and tell me they may not do all the wake-ups but they at least do the breathing!

So I love when parents send me pictures of their athletes doing the wake ups! Brax had been dealing with some sickness and she reached out and asked what she could do to help her and I said breathing and breathing wake-up as much as possible! Still with a lingering cold she won the 60m out of 55 females PR was 7.89 and she ran 7.91 so not too bad for not feeling well!

I can't say enough of you do it, it will help!

Everyone seems to be talking about the nervous system, and a regulated system and a deregulated system! I think a lot of people have a misconception of it also!

I let my clients and athletes know, feelings, emotions, stress it is all completely normal and yo will have these the rest of you life but are these things controlling you or are you able to have the feelings and not spiral from it, or live in it and not let it go!

I just love how she talks about the Nervous System!

So there is a 2016 trend going on on TikTok and Instagram looking back 10 years so I decided to hop on that trend because it was one of the coolest years professionally for me!

To be able to have a behind the scenes look at one of your favorite teams winning a championship, cominging back fom being down 3-1 and seeing "the shot" it is truly the highlight of my career!

When I first learned Be Activated/RPR, I had so many people ask me why I would want to teach people to do it themselves it would keep them from coming to me, this coach lives 1.5 hours from me and I can't always be there to help, just like I tell my clients you are not with me more hours then you are with me, you have to be able to help yourself!

Texts like this is the whole reason why!

I spent the last couple days in California with one of my best friends from high school () and being able to see what her and her staff and colleagues are doing out at UC Irvine is extremely impressive! What they incorporate in the athletic training, PT, strength and conditioning with the sport science part and the mental skills makes me want to continue to learn and bring what I can back to my athletes. I loved spending a few hours with her staff and talking shop and the symposium they put on was a good mesh of people and information! Next year it will be two days and I hope to make it out again!

In the off season I will always try to gain all the knowledge I can to help my athletes! It also is nice that I can support one of my oldest friends as she is a speaker at the symposium!

I appreciate Coach Shetzer inviting me in to talk to the Varsity/JV and freshman basketball team! I walked the team through RPR wake up drills and had some great conversations about making sure their physical and mental gas tanks are full and how words matter!

Can't wait to see their success the rest of the season! ✈️
