This effort began with a simple conversation and quickly became something much bigger. After learning that many homeless veterans cannot access even basic necessities without something as simple as socks, the message was brought back to the team, and compassion turned into action. 🙌
Employees from Waterview Hills, Salem Hills, and Skyview came together to launch the Homeless Veterans Survival Bag Drive, collecting socks, gloves, hats, hygiene items, and solar-powered phone chargers. Each item was packed with care, purpose, and respect for those who served our country.
With support from the local newspaper and surrounding communities, the impact grew even further. This initiative was never just about donations. It was about dignity, humanity, and reminding veterans that they are not forgotten. A powerful example of what happens when people come together with heart and intention. ❤️
