If you’re tired of quick fixes, passive treatments, or feeling like you’re managing pain instead of eliminating it, it’s time to work with someone who looks at the whole picture—and has the time, tools, and expertise to help you actually get better.

Don’t be the gym bro who’s constantly attempting to push/pull as much weight as possible at the compromise of form and function….unless you like being injured. 🤷‍♂️

This is a reminder that strength training is for life! 💯 There’s no need to rush. A good program is progressive and focuses on load management to keep you healthy.

Your joints don’t care about your PR—they care about proper form that will benefit your muscle strength and tissue health.

So choose longevity over ego and stop chasing PRs your body isn’t conditioned for.

(yes, we are listening to Christmas jazz while working out 🎄😂)

We recently had lead an Inflammation Workshop for us and our friends and clients. One of the topics that stuck out to me was that “Loneliness can raise risk of early death as much as smoking 15 ci******es a day” based on recent studies.

This really proves the importance of community and how powerful of a tool it can be for both our mental and physical well-being.

In fitness, community boosts motivation, consistency, and confidence. It creates a safe, supportive space to grow, try new things, and celebrate progress together.

Movement feels better when you’re not doing it alone.
So if you’re struggling with the drive to exercise, then join our community!

If you want to get out of pain, you’ve got to shift your mindset.

OT looks at fitness through the lens of real-life function.

Some examples include:
✨ Building grip and shoulder stability so carrying groceries or kids doesn’t flare your elbow or back.
✨ Training lower-body strength and foot mechanics so walking, climbing stairs, or running feels better.
✨ Improving core and hip control so sitting, lifting, or working feels easier and less painful.
✨ Developing endurance so you have energy throughout your day — not just for the gym.

OT and fitness together create a holistic approach that aims to prepare for/reduce risk of injury, improve movement quality, and build resilience.

Besties who train grip strength together live longer. It’s science. Source: trust me bro

Just kidding. It’s been well studied and proven that grip strength is a powerful biomarker for overall health and longevity.

The Dead Hang is one simple and effective exercise to help improve grip strength. It is also a great way to stretch the pecs, lats and decompress the spine.

So grab your bestie and go hang out! 👯‍♀️

Clippy — the legend that started it all.

With AI becoming so accessible, many have turned to it for workout advice and rehab plans to help them get out of seemingly endless cycles of pain and injury.

And honestly, we’ve tested AI out and when prompted correctly it can bust out a solid generalized plan.

But what it CAN’T do? Create a ✨personalized✨ plan that takes into account your movement habits, routines, and tendencies based on a variety of factors, provide you with feedback on form and technique with consideration of your anatomy, your imbalances, etc, AND it cannot hold you accountable! Remaining consistent with exercise and nutrition is 🔑 to real progress.

So this is your sign — if you want to get out of pain and improve your performance in sport and in daily life, HIRE A COACH!

Also this is a petition to bring back Clippy!!! 📎💯🙌😂
