We will provide that plan, all you have to do is show up. Either online via asynchronous coaching or in-person.

Training from the ground up! Your feet are your foundation.

If you know us, you know how much value we hold in strengthening the feet. And if you’ve ever trained with us, you’ve probably worked out barefoot!

These visuals show how the alignment and movement of your feet directly influence the tibia, fibula, and femur—and ultimately your ankles, knees, hips, and low back. When the foundation shifts, the entire structure adapts—often leading to pain, compensation, or decreased performance.

We always emphasize training from the ground up: restoring foot mobility, strength, and awareness so your entire kinetic chain can move efficiently and pain-free.

If you’re in pain, your focus should be:

Proper biomechanics
Retraining your movement patterns
Rebuild control under progressive load

I went from being an Occupational Therapist working in clinical rehab settings to running a Personal Training business with my husband (a personal trainer).

Why did I make the change?
Because I saw a gap between rehab and performance. Rehab focuses on restoring movement and function. Performance focuses on strength, power, and endurance. But in between lies a huge space where people need guidance — rebuilding trust in their body, retraining movement patterns, and regaining the confidence to push themselves again.

As a clinician, I see movement through a different lens. For me, training isn’t just about how much weight you lift or how fast you move — it’s about how your body works for you in everyday life.

Just a reminder of our current services!

Please note that at this time, manual tune-ups are only available to clients currently training with us due to capacity. We also see best results when combining this service with focused strength training.

If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to reach out 😁💪

Still training like you’re 25 but your body’s giving you 35-year-old feedback? 🥴 The same workouts and schedule that used to work won’t get you results now. And adding in supplements will only get you so far.

It’s not your effort that’s the problem. It’s your strategy. Your body changes. Your training should too!

Some truths were not afraid to admit as fitness/healthcare professionals:

❌ It’s not all about lifting heavier weights

While pushing weight and getting PR’s is fun, it’s not the only way to test strength. Always pushing to hit max weight can also make you susceptible to injury if you’re not well-prepared.

❌ Foam rolling and stretching alone won’t solve your pain

Foam rolling and stretching are excellent tools to reduce initial pain and are great in conjunction with a workout program. But the best way to get rid of pain for good? Mobility and strength training with progressive overload.

❌ You should only engage in group classes (HIIT style training) 1-2x/week max

I love a good high intensity workout, but constantly placing your body under high stress increase your cortisol levels making it difficult to recover, meet body weight goals, and increase your risk of injury/re-injury.

✅ We’re gonna make mistakes.

We can admit that we don’t know everything, however we strive to continue learning from other professionals and collaborating with our clients to improve our health and fitness knowledge.
