Hearne Vision Care is a eye care facility that is born out of Dr. Hearne’s experience of practicing optometry in Southern Indiana for the past 25+ years. This practice encompasses all of Dr. Hearne’s proven successes in his previous practices combining them into a new cutting edge, full service optometric practice. The new practice includes an experienced staff that exceeds 50 years of patient service; so rest assured, you will be greeted by a familiar smiling face. The paperless patient flow allows for a high level of care and efficiency ensuring a timely, yet thorough visit. The mission of Hearne Vision Care is to be a local, independent eye care facility that provides the best in patient care. Services offered are eye health, distinctive designer frames, the best in spectacle lens designs, low vision rehabilitation, and advanced contact lenses all provided by a knowledgeable doctor and staff who are committed to improving the patient’s quality of life. We will be closed tomorrow for inventory and then the rest of the week to enjoy time with our families. We will be back on Monday for our normal office hours. We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

We just refreshed our Modo line of frames and we now carry their Blue Light Filter reading glasses. Modo frames are very light weight, perfect for patients that can't tolerate a heavier frame. Come and check them out.

So nice to get the first graders vision screened today. Dr. Broadus, Dr. Ertel, Dr. Lisle, and myself got this done with two interns. Could not get this done without our school nurses too. Didn’t get full group photo but this is Intern Hailey, me and Dr Maggie Lisle as we finished up today. Kids were well behaved too.

I know pickleball is growing in our area so little reminder to be safe. From further reading, injuries are split between ball hitting players and players getting hit with paddles by partners on follow thru. Who’s playing? Drop me a hello if you’ve played. Dr H
