Happy almost Halloween! Sweet Street and Trick-or-Treat are quickly approaching!

*Please be mindful of street closures and high pedestrian traffic during these times on Friday evening! Madison Avenue and part of Brick Street will be closing from 12pm-8pm on October 31st!*

Not familiar with Sweet Street? Located on Madison Avenue, along Brick Street and surrounding side streets here in North Vernon, it is a safe alternative for families who would prefer not to go door-to-door for trick-or-treating, but it is not to discourage them from doing just that! Sweet Street allows families to visit our vendors which include businesses who may not have a building location, local community members and officials, and other entities who are excited to pass out candy!

Here’s the run down for October 31st, 2025:

🍭Sweet Street, located in Downtown North Vernon, hours: 5:30pm-7:30pm

🍬City of North Vernon Trick-or-Treat hours:
5:00pm-8:00pm

As always we advise all community members to trick-or-treat in groups, use sidewalks and abide by traffic laws. In the event of cold or rainy weather, please dress accordingly!
