Water Main Break Notice – Ridgeway Circle / Sunset Circle, North Waterboro

UPDATE 4/28/26: THE WATER MAIN HAS BEEN REPAIRED, THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE!

We have identified a water main break in the Ridgeway Circle and Sunset Circle area.

At this time, homes are maintaining adequate water pressure. Repairs are scheduled to begin first thing tomorrow morning.

During this work, members in the area should expect temporary drops in water pressure and the possibility of discolored (brown) water. This is a normal part of the repair process. If discoloration occurs, please run cold water until it clears.

We will continue to provide updates as work progresses. Thank you for your patience as our crew works to resolve this as quickly as possible.

Clubhouse 1 News:

Good news! Workout Fitness was at Clubhouse 1 today and got both treadmills back up and running. Your cardio routines no longer have an excuse to take the day off.

While they were here, they also checked over the rest of the equipment and gave everything a general clean.

ANNUAL DUES REMINDER:

A quick reminder, as we approach the start of the new Fiscal Year on May 1st, coupon books were mailed to members at the end of March.

If you have not yet received your mailing, please contact the office so we can assist you. (207-247-5239 or info@lacinc.org)

Please note, whether you pay annually or utilize the 10-month payment plan, payments are due beginning May 1st.

LEDGEMERE DAM UPDATE:

Eagle Creek Renewable Energy has reported that: "As part of the normal seasonal transition, the impoundment is lowered to allow for safe flashboard reinstallation. This occurs each year and is scheduled to occur mid-to-late next week (April 22-24, weather permitting). The Ledgemere Dam is on track, and the impoundment is expected to be at summer pool elevation on or before Memorial Day, consistent with the condition in the Water Quality Certification."

Deer Crossing Area, Limerick Residents – BOIL ORDER HAS BEEN LIFTED.

We are pleased to inform you that the Boil Water Order has been lifted for all previously affected areas. Water service has been restored and testing has confirmed that the water is safe for normal use.

You may still notice some temporary discoloration (brown water) as the system continues to stabilize. If this occurs, please run your cold water until it clears.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this process, and thank you for your cooperation while our crew worked to resolve the issue.

Deer Crossing, Limerick Area Residents:

The water main break has been repaired, and service has been restored to the majority of members in the affected areas.

Some areas may continue to experience lower water pressure while the Caribou Water Storage Tank refills. Full pressure should return as the system continues to stabilize.

Please remember that the Boil Water Order remains in effect for affected areas. We will notify you as soon as it is safe to lift the order.

You may also notice discolored (brown) water as service is restored. If this occurs, please run your cold water until it clears.
