Nutrition Label Makeover Alert! It's been 20 years since the FDA last revised it. The nutrition label is found on majority of our food products and show the nutritional content of our foods.

New label will display the following changes:

1) Calorie count in a bigger font

2) Added sugars, aka "empty calories", will be a new column

3) Serving sizes will be changed to reflect how people really eat vs. what the recommended portion is (ie: old label - serving size of soda 8oz., new label - serving size changed to 12oz.)

The intent of the revised label is to manage calorie intake, consume less sugar, and eat healthier.
