Leta Herman's Alchemy Healing Center The Alchemy Healing Center takes a whole body/whole spirit approach to healing. Alchemy is the process of cultivating yourself to become a better person.

The Alchemy Healing Center is an acupuncture and acupressure clinic located in Northampton, MA focused on Alchemical, Classical, and Five Element Chinese Medicine. Even modern science is beginning to understand that the body is not just a mechanical thing. True healing requires a loving presence, understanding, and the ability to hold a vision of an individual's perfect health. The Alchemy Healing Center is about discovering your true path in life, removing the illusion of obstacles you think are preventing you from that path (we're often more in our own way than we know!), and stepping in the footsteps of our destiny along that path. Everyone starts in a different place, and there is no right way to walk it... just YOUR way! This is what we call self cultivation, which can include healing an illness or making big changes in your life situation. Treatments are geared to addressing the trauma and pain (if it's present) with the goal of moving on from the pain into a better, more fulfilling life.

I love the Five Elements. I've come to realize it's really not just about treating someone based on their Elemental constitution, but about who we are as practitioners! And especially how we can find a deeper resonance with our clients. When we can understand our own energetics deeply, then we can create a meaningful rapport with people (whether in the treatment room or in our personal lives!).
