Consciousness is one of the most important aspects of healing. When we are aware of our bodies and tuned into the messages and signals they send us, we can begin to heal on a holistic level. This type of healing doesn't focus solely on getting rid of physical symptoms but it gets to the root cause of discomfort.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Physical discomfort is usually the clearest message our bodies send us to let us know that something is out of alignment. Whether it be on a mental, spiritual, emotional, or physical level, it's always best to be conscious of the slightest changes that happen within us. This way we can sense what our mind, body & spirit are needing.

Understanding consciousness and awareness helps us understand and experience our own health and well-being. True healing comes from the restoration of wholeness within ourselves mentally, spiritually and physically 👏🏽

Being human means that we must experience a spectrum of emotions, including the ones we deem “unpleasant.” Different emotions are signals for different fundamental needs.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Most of us grow up learning that some emotions are “better” than others and we often begin to reject and suppress the emotions that aren’t ideal in society.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This rejection of emotions in adulthood is our inner critic invalidating our natural human experience. It is an attack on self.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Next time you are feeling strong emotions, practice sitting with them. Analyze what you’re feeling and name it. Practice this often and begin to make space and be present with the emotions and parts of you that have been ostracized.

It is a tool that holds many benefits and allows you to navigate the daily stressors and obstacles that come with life.

There are several different breath work techniques. Each which are useful for a variety of benefits.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✨ Try this alternate nostril breathing exercise for more energy and vitality:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sit in a quiet and comfortable position
Place your thumb on your right nostril to cover it
Exhale fully and slowly through your left nostril
Release your right nostril and put your ring finger on the left nostril
Breathe in deeply and slowly from the right side.
Once you’ve inhaled completely, exhale through your right nostril.
Release your ring finger and close your right nostril with your thumb again. Breathe in fully and exhale fully from your left nostril.
Repeat 5-10 times

🫐 Blueberries: eating blueberries can increase your total antioxidant intake to help reduce premature aging. Blueberries are high in antioxidants that may help protect your skin from damage and promote skin healing.
