BFM Genealogical Research

BFM Genealogical Research Professional genealogist and speaker who solves genealogical puzzles and teaches how to research. Holds Certificate in Genealogical Research, Boston University.

Specializes in family history compilation and colonial New England research. Member APG. Research projects and custom presentations take on almost any form as research needs are unique to each client. Genealogical projects range from family tree charts and heritage society applications to solving family mysteries. In addition to my catalog of current presentations, I design custom programs to address individual topics of interest for genealogy groups and societies. All services follow the industry's Genealogical Proof Standard as prescribed by the Board for Certification of Genealogists (BCG). Uncovering a family's history is part science, part detective work, and part puzzle-solving. When all three parts come together, you will have a family history that helps you better understand who you are and where you came from. Your ancestors' stories, as they become a part of your own, will be a meaningful gift to share with family and pass on to future generations.

Our Story

Uncovering a family's history is part science, part detective work, and part puzzle solving. When all three parts come together, the end result is a legacy that help us better understand who we are and where we came from. Genealogical research projects range from family tree charts and heritage society applications to multimedia narratives and solving family mysteries with DNA. As a local history contact in New England, I also conduct research for non-local researchers and educators. Special projects take on almost any form as genealogical puzzles are unique to each client. Thorough and well-documented research is conducted using the industry's Genealogical Proof Standard as prescribed by the Board for Certification of Genealogists (BCG).
