Kevin had a love for sports and was a true New England sports fan. A man of stature, his tall 6’7” frame could be intimidating—especially while doing what he loved most: umpiring baseball. Over more than 30 years as an umpire, Kevin became known for his fairness and accuracy behind the plate. He was a lifetime member of the Massachusetts Baseball Umpires Association. In addition to being a sports enthusiast, Kevin enjoyed karaoke and could often be found performing at the MCL in Worcester, where he was known as “Red.” Despite his height and presence, Kevin was known for his steady, easygoing manner and his kind and gentle spirit. Friends often referred to him as the “Gentle Giant” and the “Ultimate Gentleman.”

With sincere condolences to his family, we share the April 1, 2026, passing of Kevin J. Harrington, of Northborough, Massachusetts, at the age of 52 years old. Please follow this link for Kevin's life story and planned services.

Richard proudly served as a patrolman with the Framingham Police Department for 30 years, a role he loved because it allowed him daily contact with the community he served. After retirement, he continued giving back by working for Greater Marlborough Programs, Inc. He was patriotic, loyal, and always ready to help someone in need. Family always came first, meaning he never missed a game, recital, or event where he could cheer on his grandchildren. Athletic from a young age, Richard enjoyed running and completed three major marathons, including the Boston Marathon, which he was especially proud of.

It is with sincere sadness we share the passing of Dr. José M. Correa, a beloved pediatrician, devoted father, and man of deep faith, who passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026.

Known for his tireless dedication, Dr. Correa faithfully cared for his patients no matter the circumstance—seeing children on weekends, during snowstorms, and whenever a worried parent called.

José earned his medical degree at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos Facultad de Medicina, San Fernando in Lima, Peru, a place that shaped both his intellect and his lifelong commitment to healing. In 1990, he made Northborough, Massachusetts, his home—a home that would soon come to know him simply as “the town’s pediatrician.” With the support of UMass Memorial Health – Marlborough Hospital, he established his pediatrics practice at Northboro Pediatrics, beginning a decades-long partnership dedicated to the wellbeing of area children and families. To José, medicine was never only a career; it was his calling, his ministry.

Dr. José Correa lived his life in service—to God, to his family, and to his community. His kindness endures in the children he healed, the faith he lived, and the love he gave so freely. For all who knew him, his memory will remain a source of strength and inspiration.

Roger’s life was a testament to dedication—dedication to his family, his professions, his town, and to helping others. For 63 years, Roger was the proprietor of Model Dairy, a true fixture in Boylston. Generations of families knew him as a steady, friendly presence, delivering not only milk but conversation, laughter and kindness and service to others.

Roger’s devotion to service began at age 18 when he joined the Boylston Volunteer Fire Department. He rose through the ranks to become Chief of the Boylston Fire Department, serving with courage, integrity, and an unwavering sense of responsibility which spanned 48 years within the department.

A lifelong motorcyclist, Roger combined his love of riding with fellowship and service when he founded the Red Knights International Motorcycle Club. What began as a single chapter in Boylston grew into an international organization with chapters spanning the globe, creating lifelong friendships and a shared mission among firefighters who shared his passion for the open road.

With a deep appreciation for history and vintage machinery, Roger founded Straw Hollow Engine Works, an organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the interest in antique farm equipment and stationary engines. What began as a personal passion grew into a well-attended annual show that brings together enthusiasts near and far.

Roger’s commitment to the benefit of others earned him the honor of Citizen of the Year in 1999.

Roger D. Wentzell, 87, a lifelong resident of Boylston, Massachusetts, and a man whose life was defined by service, community, and family, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026.
