Such a fun time of year! Can’t wait to see some great costumes!

Had a lot of fun building our mini-marshmallow catapults this week! Our future engineers had to gather materials, sequence the steps to build it, and then do a lot of problem solving to get them to work right. Can you spot the marshmallows in mid-air? Of course we got to eat some too.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in our community. We have all been impacted by yesterday’s unfathomable and senseless act of violence. For those that were present, those who know people that were present, and especially to those that lost loved ones, you are all in our hearts today.

We have spent decades supporting the families and children in this community and remain here in whatever capacity we can to help. In the days and weeks to come, as we process this tragedy, we must continue remain vigilant in our awareness that such traumas are complex and healing is different for each individual. As with adults, children of any age experience trauma and it is paramount that we all look out for eachother, especially for the little ones. This includes seeking support for ourselves as caregivers, providers, neighbors, and everyone in the community.
We will post resources that we believe can be useful in healing from this tragedy, and we encourage people to seek help if they feel that they or their child are struggling to cope.

These guys continue to amaze in our Wednesday group! They had to search for a recipe and then navigate it together. Teamwork, sticky tactile fun, and deliciousness! Great job guys!!

A very special thanks to all the families and friends that came out for our Spring Fling! It was a wonderful time and we can’t wait until our next event!
