My 2026 Ins & Outs

As we head into a new year, here’s what I’m leaning into — and what I’m leaving behind. With 2026 just days away, I wanted to share a few of my personal ins and outs as a physician who’s deeply invested in helping patients age well — internally and externally. As new research, data, and innovations continue to emerge, I love incorporating evidence-based treatments and medicines that truly support longevity, skin health, and overall wellness.

IN for 2026:
• Less, but better — intentional treatments over excess
• Rebuilding collagen, not masking loss
• Biologics like Sculptra® and Radiesse® that stimulate your body’s own repair mechanisms
• Wellness-driven aesthetics — treating the body from the inside out
• Consistency over trends for long-term results

Aesthetic medicine is still medicine.

And like every medical procedure, it comes with risks, requires clinical judgment, and deserves to be approached with the same care and caution as any other area of healthcare.
One of the most important parts of my job is helping patients understand that treatments like filler, Botox, biostimulators, lasers, and even “quick” procedures are not simply beauty services — they are medical interventions. That means safety, assessment, and thoughtful decision-making must always come first.

Sometimes that looks like me saying no to a treatment you want because it isn’t the right fit for your anatomy, your goals, or your safety. Other times, it means adjusting your plan, spacing out treatments, or recommending an alternative approach that will give you a more natural, stable result.

And yes — it’s why I don’t offer filler right before I leave for a trip, and why I won’t treat if you are traveling in less than 24 hours. Not because I don’t want to accommodate you, but because filler requires proper monitoring. If swelling, vascular compromise, or any unexpected reaction occurs, I need to be available to assess and treat you immediately. That is part of responsible medical care.

Aesthetic medicine should never be rushed.
It should never be pressured.
And it should never be approached casually.

When you choose a provider, you’re not just choosing someone who enhances your features — you’re choosing someone who understands the anatomy, the risks, the science, and the ethics behind every single decision. Your safety is my priority, always. And sometimes the safest choice is the one that requires patience, boundaries, or hearing a gentle “not today.”
